Welcome families!

In our open class, we’ll share with the families some of the work we have been doing in the context of The  Time Machine Project, and the global project that is included in it: Romeo and Juliet Around the World, or #globalrj for short.

First, we’ll watch a short video about some of the process we have been doing in the project:

Second, we’ll state our Goals and Success Criteria:

Next, we’ll work on Functional Language to describe characters: What kind of phrases will we need for the activity?

For example:

Friar Lawrence´s got brown eyes.

He is wise.

He is a priest.

He wishes the two families could live in peace.

After that, we’ll carry out our task in groups, and then we’ll share some of our findings.

While we work, we’ll need to focus both on language and content, and so we’ll reflect about this, too.

Finally, we’ll all round off our class with some reflections about the activity and the project. 🙂
