Miss Laura received 5th form at the Library to keep celebrating Halloween. She decided to share something really interesting with us: some extracts from the The Witches, by  Welsh author Roald Dahl.

The world is celebrating Roald Dahl’s 100-year-anniversary! To read more about this in the official website, click here.  Today, 5th form enjoyed a bit of Dahl’s amazing creations for children…. And we’d like to share our experience with you.

We learnt how to identify a witch! It’s not all about broomsticks and cats, you know…

We also learnt that witches HATE children! You can discover this by yourself in the following videos that Miss Laura showed us:

Finally, we listened to a part of the story and completed some missing information. We were really into The Witches, and hope to learn more about the novel and the author.

Here you can see some photos of the workshop!
