After reading chapter 10, we’ll work on several topics:

  1. We’ll go back to our initial questions about Perfection/ Imperfection and Tolerance to see what new ideas this chapter gives us.
  2. We’ll analyse the phrase “Practice makes perfect” and the opposite idea in this chapter: “Practice does NOT make perfect“.
  3. Finally, we’ll discuss the issue of Good Sportsmanship.

Let’s see a definition of the concept and explain: What do you understand? Can you give a few examples of good and bad sportsmanship in general?

Sportsmanship (noun):

fair play, respect for opponents, and gracious behavior in winning or losing.

Then, let’s compare the attitudes in the chapter that we can associate with good and bad spotsmanship, in dogs such as Burt and Cooper. We’ll make a chart to show our ideas.
