Hi kids!! This is the last week in which we are going to work with the project “Buy less, choose well”.

That is why, TODAY we are going to work on our FINAL TASK:

You will have to record a video explaining how this project has affected your life and the life of your family. You will use the expression USED TO to compare your past habits and your present lifestyle.

For example: I used to leave the lights on when I left a room, now I make sure everything is off. I used to throw everything in the same dust bin. Now I separate the trash.

The idea is to make it in a creative way, showing how things are done at home now.

So, FIRST you will list the changes you have made, then you will write everything in the form of a script and you will decide:

WHERE you are going to record it.

WHICH elements you are going to need

WHO will help you with the camera

AND HOW you are going to edit it and upload it to the Drive.

The videos will be shown in our Instagram Account, so stay connected!!!

Here are some TIPS that might help you record a great video:

1. Framing – Shoot mid thigh up. This allows you to give wide gestures with your hands. It also allows you to punch into a tighter shot while editing.

2. Audio – Don’t stand more than five feet from the camera so the mic can pick you up. Also make sure to project your voice and turn off anything noisy in the room like a fan or air conditioning.

3. Video – Shoot in 4k and 24 frames per second. This gives you the best image possible. Also, use the best phone in the house, even if it’s your kids.

4. Lighting – Stand in front of your biggest bay window and open up the blinds. You will look gorgeous.

5. Eye Contact – Find the camera and look at it. This will make a personal connection with your audience.

GOOD LUCK!!
