Hi kids!! Today we will be introducing the school project “Give PEACE a chance”.

  • We are going to reflect upon this topic?
  • Why is peace so important?
  • When do you feel at peace?
  • Do you think it is possible to achieve peace in the world?
  • Which goal of the Agenda 2020 is behind this topic?

We’ll share with you the different actions you can carry out in order to be part of this whole project. You can:

  • Make a poster
  • Send a picture showing yourself at peace
  • Sing the song “Stand by me” with your family
  • Record a video giving a peace message to the community
  • or any other action you come up with.

Also, we are going to analyse the lyrics of the song “STAND MY ME” and sing it all together.

Finally, we will decide on a peace accesory that we are going to wear the whole week to represent PEACE. (Remember that on September 21st Peace Day is celebrated all around the world)

Remember that in Edmodo there is an activity about the story “The Name Jar” that you should complete and hand in!
