Selection Summary
Mother Teresa sees need everywhere. Noticing dying people lying in the streets, she fights for a place to take them where they can die clean and loved. At first there is opposition to her efforts, but as the community sees her compassion and love, the people help her. Next Mother Teresa turns her attention to the orphans. She opens Shishu Bhavan and goes out to collect abandoned children. She looks for homes for them in India, Europe, and the United States. Seeing lepers, Mother Teresa turns her attention to them. She goes from place to place to help the lepers where they live. In spite of all her work, Mother Teresa is not satisfied. For her, there is a whole world of sick, poor, unhappy people. She wants to do more.
